Um, why is it relevant that they lost black widows? That is probably the best to lose because you don't have to spend time leveing it up because it's already level 20 so if you get it again then you have exactly what you had before... Now if it was a pet that started off at a low level, I can understand you mentioning that pet...

A simmilar thing happend in UW during a smite run. We were killing the last 2 Ataxe on the stairs before talking to the Lost Soul. the Ataxe droped an ecto for the monk and the ecto spawned below the stairs, no way to get to it. :S

Um, this is in no way related to anthing said previously.

That's a stair coding issue, this is a lag/short term re-roll issue.
